Are you IN?

There is a truth, for those of us who follow Jesus, so rich—so powerful I can’t quit thinking about it. This truth is based in His goodness, His grace, His power and His love.  Fortunately, it’s not based on me or my effort.

The key is not our effort, but our surrender. When we surrender our lives to Jesus, we have put our lives IN His hands. In fact…IN…is the key idea here:

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:1-2 NIV)

Do you see it? “…for those who are IN Christ Jesus. Now, because of His work, there is no condemnation for us. He has completely covered our sins. Go back and read those verses again. You may not “feel” like it…but it’s TRUE about you if you are IN CHRIST JESUS!
