I love the people God brings into my life, but I don’t always like to see them go. Well, one of our key families will be moving out of the area and so I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Phil & Laurie Pendley.

For the last few years Phil as been one of our elders and a good friend. We recently got to sit down at lunch and reminisce a bit, but it was at that lunch where Phil also gave me his resignation letter from the eldership.

Here’s part of his letter: “It has been my honor and privilege to serve with you all over the past few years and I am excited about the past growth and future potential of the Church here in Hemet.”

Phil and Laurie are in the process of selling their home here in the Valley and will be relocating out of state.

Pendleys…you both have been a great source of encouragement to me and to the larger family here at Community. THANK YOU…and may God richly continue to be a blessing through you as you find your new home and your new church family.
