School is about over for another year and Summer is right on it’s heels. So, as Summer approaches, here’s a few things to keep in mind:

1-We need to be intentional about connecting with others. As schedules change and adjust, you may need to make some adjustments in order to stay connected to others in the church, your LifeGroup or other friends.

2-We need to be intentional with our generosity. One of the great features of PUSHPAY is that you can set up your tithes/offerings as a “reoccurring” event so that you never miss investing in God’s work even if you happen to be gone on vacation. Trust me, lives are still changing and things are still happening even though we may be laying on a beach somewhere. If you don’t have the PUSHPAY app, download it now and get started.

3-We need to be intentional with our Every Day With Jesus time. If you don’t have a reading plan, start reading a chapter of Proverbs each day or start in Matthew and spend your summer getting to know Jesus even better as you read through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

4-We need to be intentional about serving others. I know I look forward to the things in the summer where I get to do what I WANT TO DO, but there are always people around us who need to experience the love of Jesus in practical ways. Keep your eyes open!

5-WE need to all be intentional about praying for our building project. Please be RELENTLESS as you pray for the last details to get wrapped up so we can start tearing up some dirt!
