We had a great response from last weekend’s poll question on our app. So, I wanted to share with you some of the advise you’ve received over the years regarding finding Mr/Mrs Right.

This weekend, we’ll be looking into the wisdom of Proverbs again to discover much of what God has to say on this subject. Here’s some of the things you shared on our poll.

“I was told if I wanted to find a guy that is different then the others, I need to start saying yes to the guys I usually say no to.”

“Find someone who represents the qualities of God. Someone who is loving, kind, generous, gives grace, etc.”

“Look for friendship first, romance second.”

“Seek God first, he will give you a spouse when you need one.”

“Look how they treat the waiter and waitress.”

“Every marriage starts with a first date. Don’t go on a date with someone you couldn’t see yourself marrying.”

Oh, there is much more and share some of them this weekend!

Here’s one more. It’s maybe my personal favorite:

“The person you can fart in front of is the person you can marry.”
