Investing in the lives of people who are as special as the people in Area 2 makes saying good-bye very difficult.

We still have a few more days in Kenya, but we said “see you later” to the team and children of the school in Area 2.

Their staff of teachers, social workers, cooks and cleaners are simply amazing. This is Maggie!

The kids…well, lets just say they grabbed all of our hearts. We started sponsoring Lillian a year ago and finally got to meet here. It was great hanging out with our Eagan too!

They had a ceremony to thank us for coming. Part of the ceremony included some dancing. I’m not going to say it was Dancing with the Stars quality, but Rick Hunter got out there and let it rip!

This weekend we’ll be with a church in the Bondini village. It is adjacent to Area 2, so we hope to see some of our friends there. Then…We’ll have to say good bye again:(
