This weekend is significant for one big reason. No, it’s not because of the river, the beach, barbecues, family time or even baseball. It’s because this weekend we remember those that have given their lives to protect our freedom.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13 NIV)

There’s much we can pray about when we think of our Country, but there is also still a lot for which we can be grateful.

We live in a blessed land and there are many who have sacrificed their lives and demonstrated a “greater love.”

Our men and women in our armed forces today deserve our gratitude and our prayerful support. They are putting their lives on the line, and for that, we can all say THANK YOU.
