You may not know Rick Rusaw, but he has definitely had an influence on all of us here at Community. Our heart, as well as strategies, to serve our Valley was largely influenced by a book Rick wrote called, “The Externally Focused Church”.

I’ve known Rick for years and have always seen him as a guy who has a heart for the church to be effective. He’s someone who’s able to step back and see the bigger picture, make adjustments and then move forward with clarity. He’s been the pastor of LifeBridge Church in Longmont, Colorado for several years and he continues to lead beyond the scope of that one local church.

This weekend, Rick, and his wife Diane, will be here as a part of our The Elephant In The Room series. He’ll be addressing this question: “Where is God When it Hurts?”

Rick is also one of the key speakers at this summer’s North American Christian Convention in Anaheim, July 12-15.

This is going to be another great weekend at Community! I can’t wait!!!
