I have absolutely loved our study through the book of James this summer. James doesn’t beat around the bush or give us short cuts to a life fully devoted to Jesus, and that’s why we called our series BE BRAVE. You can use that link to go back at watch any of the weeks you missed.
With one week left, we’ll be looking closely at the subject of prayer. I, for one, am really excited about this because James’ words are just as powerful as they are practical when it comes to this amazing gift God offers us called prayer.
As you can imagine, James isn’t the only one in the books of the Bible to talk about prayer. Here’s another great reminder from the Apostle Paul.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)
