Prayer for Ourselves: Pray that you would develop a prayer list for the salvation of everyone that you regularly come in contact with. This list will help you pray for your hairdresser/barber, your kid’s teachers, your next door neighbor, your grocer, etc. Then ask the Lord to help you learn more and more how to share your faith and start doing so with everyone on your list.

Prayer for our Valley: Pray for all of our police, fire and utility workers. Pray that they would come to Christ and do their jobs in the name of the LORD. Pray that they would be protected by God and that He would have them protect us (Romans 13).

Pray for our Nation: Pray that more and more Americans would learn more about our Constitution, heritage of courageous men and women of the past and why our form of government has served us so well that the USA has become the greatest nation on the earth. Pray that we would, however, be a nation “under God” again that loves other nations and desires the best for them as well.

Pray for the World: (Deuteronomy 8:12-14) “When you have all you want to eat and have built good houses to live in and when your cattle and sheep, your silver and gold, and all your other possessions have increased, be sure that you do not become proud and forget the Lord your God who rescued you from Egypt, where you were slaves.” Humility: Pray that people whose needs have been met will not turn and forget God, therefore, that they will share liberally with others. This is true of this great nation in which we live. Pray that organizations like Samaritan’s Purse and the Salvation Army might be supported by us so that they can extend physical mercy in Jesus’ name.
