1-Describe a time in your life when you knew you were in over your head.

2-If help came in that moment, what was it and how did it help?

3- What strength, power or confidence have you gained from being around other people who share the same convictions & mission?

 

Building Up: What is God Saying? 

Read Acts 1:4-8, then answer the following questions:

1-What were some of the main reasons why Jesus’ disciples were instructed to go and wait in Jerusalem?

2-Why was the power of the Holy Spirit essential to the success of their mission?

3-What ways have you seen/experienced God’s help through His Spirit?

4-What has kept you from being more of a “witness” in the past?

5-What could you do to increase your witnessing effectiveness?

6-What are some ways we can be witnesses in our own Valley…our “Jerusalem”?

7-Why is it critical that we are involved in more than just our own Valley, although it is our primary focus? (“Be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”)

 

Living Out: How do I obey?

1-Discuss the different affects the Easter service in the Stadium can have on our witness as Christ-followers and how it could be used as a catalyst for change in our Valley.

2-Who is the ONE you are praying for this month leading up to Easter?

3-On which team are you going to serve for the Easter event?
