Building Up: What is God Saying? 

Read James 5:1-6. Now answer the following questions:

1- What are the reasons listed why James is so hard on these rich people?

2- What are the possible dark sides to great wealth?

3- Many rich people in the Bible were great people who followed God with all their heart. What separates the “good” rich, from the “bad” rich?

4- While these verses don’t point it out, what does God say about our possessions and wealth that needs to always be on our mind when we think about money?

5- Being “rich” is not a sin. Being rich comes with it’s own set of responsibilities, opportunities and temptations. Read 1 Timothy 6:17-19 and then complete these thoughts:
