Building Up: What is God Saying?
Read James 5:7-12. Now answer the following questions:
1- How does patience and farming go hand in hand? What can God do in us throughout our time of waiting?
2- What does grumbling do to the Body of Christ? Why do you think “grumbling” shows up in the midst of James’ words about being patient in the difficult times?
3- What do we learn from the prophets about enduring and perseverance?
4- How does verse 12 relate to the way we communicate today? What should we be careful of and how can we make this better?
5- Huge lessons come out of our suffering. Share with your group one lesson that stuck with you because of a painful experience.
Living Out: How do I obey?
