Building Up: What is God Saying? 

 

Read John 1:35-39. John (the Baptist) was the first one to point people to Jesus. Why do you think the two guys listened to him and started to follow Jesus?

 

Read John 1:40-42. Andrew invites Peter to meet Jesus. How is it easier or even more difficult to invite your family members to meet Jesus?

 

Read John 1:43-46 When Philip tells Nathanael about Jesus, Nathanael isn’t feeling warm and fuzzy at first. What changes his mind? How can we relate to that as we invite people to meet Jesus today?

 

Read John 1:47-49. What does Jesus do to capture Nathanael’s attention? What does He do today to capture ours? How did He capture your attention?

 

Read John 1:50-51. Jesus makes some huge claims and promises throughout His ministry. Why do we keep following Him? How does this challenge us to invite more and more people to meet Jesus?

 

 

Living Out: How do I obey?

 

1-What does a simple, effective invitation to our Easter service actually look and sound like?

 

2-Go into your prayer time by praying for the people you are all inviting to the Easter service this Sunday at the Stadium.
