Building Up: What is God Saying? 

Read Acts 2:22-24, then answer the following question:

1-What did Peter do to connect with his audience? How did he make it powerfully personal?

Read Acts 2:32-36, then answer the following question:

2-What are some of the significant impacts of the resurrection of Jesus? What if Jesus didn’t rise from the dead?

Read Acts 2:37, then answer the following question:

3-People from all over the world heard this message. People from all over the world reacted with true repentance and conviction. How does it remind you of when you first realized exactly what Jesus did for you?

Read Acts 2:38-39, then answer the following questions:

4-What are the two promises of God when we respond to His grace with repentance and we’re baptized? How does verse 39 give us hope TODAY that this is still true?

Read Acts 2:40-41, then answer the following questions:

5-Jesus saves us, so what does Peter mean when he says, “save yourselves from this corrupt generation?”

6-What must it have been like to witness 3000 people getting baptized as they responded to the powerful, personal message of Jesus?

 

Living Out: How do I obey?

1-For those of you who’ve been baptized, tell your group a highlight of your baptism day. If you haven’t been baptized, if you want, share with your group a reason you haven’t yet.

2-Any news on the person you’re praying for? (Remind your group who you’re praying for this month as you look for an opportunity to invite them to Easter.)

3-Put together those eggs!
