Building Up: What is God Saying? 

1- Read Psalm 112:1-2. What does it mean to “delight” in God’s commands? Why are God’s blessings connected to our obedience? Give a few examples.

2- Read Psalm 112:3-4. How are “righteousness”, “graciousness” and “compassion” connected in God’s view of things? How does generosity help connect the dots between them?

3- Read Psalm 112:5-6. How is “justice” a help in guiding our financial decisions? How do you think “justice” gives clarity for your spending and saving, as well as, your giving?

4- Read Psalm 112:7-8. Is it possible to be generous and still have difficulty with your finances? What do these verses mean and how can they help you?

5- Read Psalm 112:9. What does it mean to “freely scatter” our gifts to the poor? What does it NOT mean?

6- Read Psalm 112:10. This is a pretty disturbing verse. How does its’ warning help you trust and obey our Lord?
