Building Up: What is God Saying?
**If not married, apply these verses to your every day relationships with family, at work or with friends.
Read Philippians 2:1-2:
1 – While not specifically about marriage, how can these verses speak life into a marriage?
2 – What keys for a great marriage are found here?
3 – Give examples of being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.
Read Philippians 2:3:
1 – Give examples of how selfish ambition or vain conceit hurts a marriage.
2 – What are ways people can show they value their spouse above themselves? If you’re not married, how can this work in your other relationships?
Read Philippians 2:4:
1 – If married, what’s an interest your spouse has that you could be more supportive of or participate in?
Read Philippians 2:5-8:
1 – After reading about Jesus’ attitude toward us, how does this challenge you in your relationships and marriage?
2 – How is sacrifice the most compelling and attractive expression of love in any relationship? (Remember this in, John 15:13?)

1 – Share with your group one attitude adjustment you want to make starting now.
2 – Make plans to put together your Easter eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt at the stadium. Remember, these need to be turned in no later than March 21.
