***Watch the Video*** (1 Kings 17:7-16)
Building Up: What is God Saying?
1- Read 2 Corinthians 9:6. How have you already seen this to be true? What areas, besides money, have you seen this principle at work in your life?
2- Read 2 Corinthians 9:7. What could be the keys to helping you decide how much to give? What would help you be a “cheerful giver”?
3- Read 2 Corinthians 9:8-9. Why do you think God makes some huge promises when it comes to our generosity? If He doesn’t “need” it, why does He talk so much about our being generous?
4- Read 2 Corinthians 9:10-11. What are some of the ways (“enriched in every way”) God can bless us as a result of our generosity?
5- Read 2 Corinthians 9:12-14. How does the way our giving impacts others help motivate you to be more generous? How has the generosity of others blessed you and led to “thanksgiving”?
6- Read 2 Corinthians 9:15. Why should our decisions about giving always come with a clear understanding of God’s generosity and the cross?
Living Out: How do I obey?
1- Tell your group why you’ve been grateful for this LifeGroup experience. Let everyone have a shot at this! (Happy Thanksgiving)
2- What is a service project your LifeGroup can do together between now and Christmas? Is there a family you could help?
