Building Up: What is God Saying? 

1- Read Daniel 3:1-7. How does the beginning of this story remind you of our current culture? What kinds of things are we seemingly forced to worship that may not be something God wants for us? What kinds of “false gods” do we face today?

2- Read Daniel 3:8-15. In what ways do you see others trying to bring you down because of your faith? As you choose to live a life that honors God, regardless of the culture, what kinds of pressures have you experienced?

3- Read Daniel 3:16-18. What stand out about what they say and how they say it? How can this help you take a stand in our culture?

4- Read Daniel 3:19-25. They had faith, but still got thrown in the fire. What are some of the lessons from these verses in particular?

5- Read Daniel 3:26-30. There are times when taking our stand leads to the conversion of those watching? What do you think people want to see, even if they may not admit it out loud?
