You may be loving our At the Movies series or it may not be your cup of tea, but one thing is for sure…LIVES ARE BEING CHANGED!

I talked to a young lady who started coming to Community and she loves this place. She said the first week we used Captain Philips to help tell the Gospel story, it rocked her.

She literally said, while pointing at her head… “Fireworks were going off.” 

“I had been trying to save myself for so long. Now I understand that only Jesus can save me.”

I don’t want to tell all of her story, but you should know this: She was lost, and now she is found!!

This weekend we’ll be looking at the movie, 42. It’s the true story about Jackie Robinson, the man who broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball. Don’t you think with all the racial tension our Country has been experiencing this summer, this movie and God’s Word will have some timely truths we desperately need?
