One of the true blessings of being at the same church for 27 1/2 years is I get to see people grow up and let God use them wherever they go. This weekend, after attending Community’s Saturday night service, our family used the weekend off to go visit Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim.

Besides being a great service, it was fun catching up with Cory Marshall.

Cory’s parents, Jerry & Diane, still go to Community, but now Cory lives in Anaheim and is on staff at Eastside as an administrative assistant. I’m extremely proud of this young man who has a giant heart. His willingness to love and serve in the name of Jesus is something that has always been able to shine brightly through this young man’s life.

Again, let me encourage you, when you are gone from your home church on a weekend…find a place to worship. God WILL meet you there, and maybe…just maybe, someone else will meet you there too.
