While reading through, and working through, our Freeway workbook I love coming across some powerful one-liners that can sink deep into my soul and carry me that much further. How about this week’s lesson on Forgiveness where we find this jewel from Bob Goff:

I really missed you all this past weekend, but it gave me a chance to reflect on a lot of what’s going on around here. It’s healthy to get a little distance in order to gain perspective. The more I thought about Community, the more I was reminded how Freeway fits our church’s DNA in a tangible and remarkable way. We’re digging this series because it reflects the kind of church we want to be each and every day.

I keep hearing amazing stories from those who are working their way through all of these steps WITH some trusted friends in a LifeGroup. During this series, over 1/2 of our regular attending adults are in a LifeGroup. I love that. We still want to see 100% someday, but it’s pretty cool to see hundreds of you going on this journey WITH your friends.

Now you know even more why I’m excited to see you all this weekend!
