As most of you know, I had the weekend off from teaching. I was involved in a great 50th wedding anniversary Saturday night with the Frahms. That was a real special evening, but I want to let you in on something I saw and heard Sunday morning.

This was a great weekend for several reasons:

Zach did an amazing job. Great lesson!!

Andrew and the team really led an emotional and powerful worship service.

The baptisms at the 9:00 am service were truly special.

Many more first timers gave Community a shot.

These only name a few of the great things I noticed, but there was one more thing I thought I’d explain.

We had a number of people come up to me with a huge smile on their face to tell me the person or people they had invited or prayed for were finally here TODAY!

Well, it was a great day for them to join us for sure. I just want to keep challenging all of us. Don’t ever stop praying and don’t every shy away from inviting your friends. One of these days, they’ll walk through those doors. And when they do…you won’t be able to wipe that smile off of your face either!
