I hope your #EveryDayWithJesus is off to a great start in 2016. Now, if you don’t know what to read next, but you really do want to be reading every day in your Bible, start reading one chapter a day from the book of John. That will take you through the end of January.

The other part of our #EveryDayWithJesus commitment is to spend time with Him in prayer. So here are some prayer thoughts for this week. By the way, you’ll notice a common thread throughout this month. See it yet?

Pray for a growing passion for God’s Word. Keep reading your Bible every day, but ask God to make it more than a task to complete, but rather a time to be enjoyed.

Pray for your “Other Side” person. Pray for their heart to be open and pray for your eyes to be open in order to see the opportunities God places in front of you.

Pray against any areas of compromise in your life. Begin now to ask for God’s helping in getting you to a place where you are “all in”.
