2016 is here…ready or not. So, in order to be ready, here’s a few things we all can do to get started right.

Get your reading plan set up so you can spend Every Day With Jesus. I’ve used the reading plans on bible.com for years now. You can find one for the whole year or you can go from plan to plan throughout your year. Just find one that fits you. Here’s where you can find ALL THEIR PLANS.

If you haven’t yet, get PUSHPAY set up on your phone.

If you’ve never used it, it’s secure and simple. Michelle and I have been using it for some time now and love it. The same day she or I get paid, I go on Pushpay and give our tithe. It’s so convenient. You can also set it up as a reoccurring gift every month. If you want to check it out, go to your app store or start with their website: PUSHPAY. Make sure you allow it to use your location. That will help you get our church. And…you can look for the cube and our logo when searching for Community Christian Church. Another great option for giving is setting up an “autopay” with your bank. We have several families that do this as well.

Take the next step and grow with your friends in a LifeGroup. You can find a LifeGroup that some of your friends are already in, or, like several did this past fall, start your own. Get some friends together and starting learning, growing and serving together. If you want more info on how to start a group, email lin@community.cc and she’ll get you started. We are starting a new series this weekend and we’ll have the DVDs and information available in the lobby at all of our services.

Now, one last thing. Stop for a moment and PRAY! Ask God to work in you and through you in 2016. This is going to be a year we’ll never forget!!!
