We went to Chuuch! Our first full day in London was a Sunday. So, we went to church…pronounced “chuuch”. Actually we went to Hillsong London for “chuuch” and it was amazing!

We loved the energy and the power of the message.

Later we were in front of Westminster Abbey. Sadly, while the building is beautiful, there’s not a “chuuch” that thrives at that location. Millions of tourists check out the architecture, but that’s about it. On the other hand, Hillsong London is using downtown theaters, and with 5-7 services on a Sunday, there are thousands involved and learning what it means to be the church (I mean chuuch).

It made me think of our facility plans and reminded me that we are never to be all about buildings…we are about people, and more specifically, changed lives. We need better facilities, obviously, but we will always use our facilities to accomplish our mission.
