Most of you have heard by now that Zach Gibson is leaving Community to work with a church in Maryland. Yes, you read that right, MARYLAND.

After nearly 8 1/2 years as our Youth Pastor, Zach is going to be taking on an Associate Pastor role working with LifeGroups and community building.

We will miss all of the Gibsons!

Our Wednesday night Middle & High School ministry will continue to meet at 7pm (although students can start showing up around 6:30 to hang out). Along with the great team of volunteers who’ve been working with Zach, Steven Rose will now be taking lead along with his wife Becca. Shawn Guerrero will continue to lead worship and work with the students who want to sing or plan in the band.

We will not be having the same Middle School class on Sunday mornings. However, the 6th graders will be joining the 5th graders in the children’s ministry for the rest of the school year. This gives Mia and the team time to build into them and train them as a new wave of leaders. This will be available at all 3 weekend services!
