What if it happened to you?

I’ve been doing this long enough to see families go through seriously difficult things during the holidays. Loss of a loved one, a gut-wrenching diagnosis, laid off from a good job, and so much more.

My question today is not a fun one, but, what if it happened to you?

I’m sure not hoping someone goes through some tuff stuff this Christmas, but what if you (or someone you love) does? How are you going to handle it?

Our faith in God is not a “fair-weather faith.” Let’s just resolve now to run TO God, not FROM Him if life hits you full force this month.

By the way, I know of several people who are already in pain this holiday season. Be praying for each other. We need each other no matter what happens. Let’s keep pointing each other back the the ONE who can carry us through all of it.
