Since this is a political season, we are well aware of promises being made and promises being broken.

When it comes to The Blessed Life I think we need to look deeply into the heart of the promises made to us and be honest about the actual outcome of those promises.

Jesus said we can’t serve both God and Money (Matthew 6:24). So look at what is promised and then you decide. Which one, God or Money, is going to be able to come through. They both promise:

1. Security

2. Freedom

3. Power

4. Significance

The bottom line is simple, money makes the claim, but ONLY God is going to fulfill each of those promises!
