Are you growing in your ability to love?

You have probably come across people who are just difficult to love. I know I’ve come across my share, but I also know I can be more loving to people (even the difficult ones) when I allow God’s Spirit to help me.

What does it look like? How does it work? Well, it’s a work the Spirit does on me from the inside. What happens on the outside, like my words and actions, are a result of what’s goin on in my heart. So, if I don’t like what’s coming out…maybe it’s because I’m not truly giving the Holy Spirit free rein of my heart.

I do know this…it’s a daily choice, not a one time deal. But, He is here to help if you’re ready!

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV)
