Are you making Spiritual Deposits?

As we wrap up our Family Values series this weekend we are taking a close look at our own lives. If we want to see growth and development in our family, it needs to be seen in us!

One of the ways we’ll be describing this is with the idea of “Spiritual Deposits.” Spending time with God and His Word on a regular basis is one of those deposits.

A smile broke across my face, with the idea of spiritual deposits fresh in my thoughts, when I came across this translation of Psalm 119:11. You gotta love it!

“I’ve banked Your promises in the vault of my heart so that I won’t sin myself bankrupt.” (Psalm 119:11 MSG)
