Unity is a big deal. Unity is a key theme in much of the New Testament. Unity is what makes the church powerful and effective in so many ways. However, unity takes work.

There is effort that goes into working through issues, forgiving someone and humbling ourselves. Jesus prayed that we would be ONE so that the world would know Him (John 17:21).

The Christmas season is often hectic and even chaotic at times. My encouragement to you today is simple: Put in the work to keep the bond of peace with others in Christ. We are in this together…and will make our greatest achievements TOGETHER.

“Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all. (Ephesians 4:3-6 NLT)
