Can you see the connection?
Today on my “60 Seconds with PJ” (on Instagram and Facebook) I’m talking about being silent in the face of those insulting us as we follow the example of Jesus. In fact, Peter talks about when Jesus was being tortured and crucified. Look at this:
“He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.” (1 Peter 2:23 NLT)
Then, I noticed a key verse from this weekend’s message. Do you see the connection?
“A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.” (Proverbs 12:16 NLT)
Something to think about. Have a great weekend!!
