Celebration of Life for my dad, Bob Scott
In case you hadn’t heard yet, my dad got to get on the “Glory Train” and go HOME Wednesday evening, May 29th.
He had been with us for four months and four days. Who’s counting? We are! Michelle and I (and our family) loved having him around. It was a true honor to serve him as we spent so much time together.
It’s not easy for me to describe my dad’s impact on me or on so many others in just a few words, but we will attempt to do some of that when we celebrate his life. This special service will be on June 15 at 11am at Community Christian Church.
Thank you all for your prayers, your support and your love throughout this time.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV)
