Did you hear what I heard?
So grateful for Pastor Jake and his message this past weekend at Community. While he kicked of our series, WHAT IF…, he asked a very important question. He asked, “What if WE DON’T…” While he unpacked this issue as it related to our doing life together, the question has lingered with me.
What if we DON’T do life together? What if we actually think we can or should do this on our own…not needing the church, Christian friends, a LifeGroup, a support group of godly people helping us each and every day? Simply put: that’s trouble.
We need each other. We need each other big time!!
This week, be watching for ways to further connect, faithfully encouraging each other.
Thanks Jake!
“Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. ” (Hebrews 3:12-14 ESV)
