Don’t you love this!?!

In my daily reading yesterday I finished up Mark (along with what I read in the OT). The end of Mark, like the end of the other Gospels (Matthew, Luke, John) all report the amazing news…JESUS IS ALIVE!

That tomb was only borrowed. That tomb was just a comma. That tomb could not hold the One who gave His life for us.

I know Easter is still a month away, but is there ever a time when this isn’t great news!?!?!? HE HAS RISEN!

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ ” (Mark 16:6-7 NIV)
