Getting your toes wet

If you live in Southern California, you’re used to cooler temps in the ocean. When we arrived in San Clemente on vacation the water was about 71 degrees. Not bad!! A few days later the waves got bigger and the water got colder…62 degrees. Ouch!!

I love walking along the beach at sunset. I usually don’t mind getting in the water a bit. But this time it hurt! Ha.

Cold water or not, seeing a sunset release its’ colors is something special. Here in Hemet the last few nights we’ve been blessed with some of God’s handiwork.

Well, with sunsets in mind, here’s my favorite verse regarding their beauty and purpose:

“That’s how God’s Word vaults across the skies from sunrise to sunset, Melting ice, scorching deserts, warming hearts to faith.” (Psalm 19:6 MSG)
