God’s Plan is Special!

Last week Michelle and I got out of town for a few days. The last few months have been special, but we were ready to go hang with some good friends and be rejuvenated. We had a great time, and we’re so glad to be back.

While away I was still reading Hebrews and looking at our chapters yet to be covered. It’s all so packed with good news, powerful challenges and loving warnings. This weekend we looked at chapter 8 and it again brought me back to God’s plan.

All along our God wanted a relationship with us. He designed a covenant to express His commitment to us, and then He rolled up His sleeves and got to work.

For us to have this amazing opportunity, Jesus would give His life. He willingly and lovingly did just that!

Now, the New Covenant is established and the invitation has been sent. You and I and everyone we know can be a part of this Family.

“This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
