It killed me!

It killed me!

I was seriously looking forward to being with our Community family on Sunday. After being gone two weekends…I couldn’t wait!!! And then, I got sick. I’m glad we had the Thursday night service recorded.

I’m sure I’ll be better soon. It’s just some kind of a chest cold thing. It came on Friday night, but I already feel much better.

So, as you’ve been praying for my dad and our family, I also appreciate your prayers for my health and getting through this quickly.

However, there is so much more to prayer than just when someone is sick. Let the following verses be an inspiration to you as you pray for your friends and family today!

“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.” (Colossians 1:9-10 NLT)
