It may not be the first place you look on the 4th of July for inspiration regarding our freedom. In fact, Jimi Hendrix wasn’t even talking about the freedom we enjoy as citizens of this great country. What I want you too see though is simple and powerful.

Gotta love those first two lines. The purpose of freedom is not to do your own thing, it’s to live and to give. 

 

I think you can find that kind of theology in the Bible too.
