Here are your LifeGroup questions for week 28 of HIStory.

Stepping In: Getting things started!

1- Of the five pictures describing how we look at the modern church today, which one best describes how you have tended to view the church? (A movie theatre, store, restaurant, gas station, or fitness center.)

Building Up: What is God Saying?

Read Acts 2:42. In describing the activity of the early church, we see they “devoted” themselves to certain purposes. These are all important, but which one has encouraged you the most lately?

Read Acts 2:43. What are some things that could be happening in our own experience to create a sense of “awe” in our own valley regarding the church? How could this change the conversation about “church” in our own valley?

Read Acts 2:44-45. Their devotion to one another was very genuine. What does meeting needs through generosity, service projects, etc. say to our valley? What does it mean to each other in the church?

Read Acts 2:46-47. “Glad & sincere” is a vivid description of the first church as they did life together. What could we do or change to see more “glad & sincere” and less “judgmental & hypocritical”?

Living Out: How do I obey?

1- Make it personal. Out of this study, share one thing you will start or do more of that will help us experience the Lord adding to our number daily?

2. Plan a service project you can do as a group.
