An amazing opportunity is just around the corner. This weekend we’ll begin something that I’m sure will change all our lives. We’re launching a 2-year journey that is certain to challenge, encourage, confront, stretch and ultimately bless each one of us.

 

With this opportunity right here, right now, I want to encourage you to do two things before we get started.

 

1-Subscribe to this blog. Have it come directly to your email so you don’t miss any of the daily devotional we’ll all be doing together. You can do that right now by clicking on "subscibe via email". The daily devotional will be delivered via email every morning at 5:30. (In the past we’ve actually printed books, but this will make it simpler in a lot of ways, and if you read something you know can encourage someone else, you can just forward the email to them.)

 

2-Invite God all the way in. At different times in my life I’ve been guilty of holding God at arms length. I want Him close enough to bless me or help me, but not quite close enough to whisper His direction into my ear. However, throughout this journey we’ll be looking to listen and obey as God leads. Take a moment right now to invite God to lead your throughout this journey. Ask Him to teach you and give you clear direction each step of the way.
