What does it take to shine brightly in the dark places of our daily lives? What does it take to make a difference in the discouraged areas of our own valley, our workplace or even our own home?

 

There’s a lot we can be doing for sure, but a very real difference could be made if we stopped a couple little things.

 

Philippians 2:14-16a (NIV) Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.

 

Did you catch that? If we didn’t grumble (complain) or argue…

 

It seems the only "spiritual gift" some people have is the gift of pointing out what's wrong with everyone else. Not good.

 

There is definitely a lot we can do, but today, lets just start here. Don’t complain about the situation, the people or the circumstances. Shine!
