Over four years ago we started working in “Area 2” of the Mathare Valley slums in Nairobi. People from Community began sponsoring over 100 children there. Now, if you missed that opportunity, it’s your turn.

 

This weekend we’ll have Keith and Kathy Ham with us from Nairobi, Kenya to give us an update on our school in Area 2 and the mission in the Mathare Valley as a whole. You’ll also have an opportunity to start sponsoring a child there in our school. 

 

For $38/month you can provide their school uniform, education and two meals a day. For most of these kids, it’s their only meals during the day. You are also supplying medical treatment and other much needed benefits.

 

 

We only have about 50 kids available to sponsor right now, so if you’re serious about this be sure and get to the display tables right away when you get to Community this weekend.

 

You’ll need to come prepared to pay for your first month when you sign up and get your child’s information.
