The CHURCH is important

The CHURCH is important

During our time in San Clemente we take the time to go to a church where we know we’ll be fed and encouraged. It’s interesting to go somewhere else and see what others are doing. I always pick up a few things that could make us at Community better.

For more than 20 years of going to San Clemente in the Summer, we’ve been to a lot of churches. Each time our LORD is present and our hearts are filled. God’s church is alive and well. Churches do things differently. Some are great at some things and maybe not so proficient at others…but our LORD is present and our hearts are filled.

I know it’s easier to NOT go to church when we’re away, but we don’t want to miss what God is doing…wherever we are!

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” (Colossians 3:12-14 NIV)
