These people amaze me!
We are half way through our week of training church leaders here in Cambodia. Here are a few things I’ve noticed about the people who are doing God’s work in Cambodia:
1-They are completely devoted to Jesus! It shows up in everything they do.
2-They are over-comers! The history of this place with rock you. It will break your heart.
3-They are hungry for more of God! We teach several hours every day, then they break into smaller groups in order to further discuss the lessons.
Yes, these are amazing people. They remind me of my church family back home. We are united in Christ, and we will continue to be united when we willingly choose to be humble and put others first.
“Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Philippians 2:1-4 NIV)
