While invited to be a part of a special wedding on the coast this weekend, Michelle and I took advantage of it and got away for a few days. We were blessed by attending another church on Sunday, but ALWAYS miss our family here at Community. We were both seriously encouraged when these words showed up on my Facebook page from Casie Husby.

Great service last night. Mikel sure knows how to deliver God's word! Must be nice knowing you have such an AMAZING team of leaders and volunteers who take care of everything while you are away. JoAnne was greeting people with hugs, Joni was helping to run the ice cream cafe, Steve was handing out programs with his big Cheshire Cat smile, Zach was making people laugh, leading communion, and reminding us all what God did for us. So proud to be a part of this church family. I know God is smiling down and that if our visitors last night didn't know who Jesus was, that they sure do now. Thanks Community! By the way we missed you and Michelle too. See you soon.
