What does this mean?
What does it mean to “live for God”? What does it look like when “Christ lives in me”?
There is not a cookie-cutter approach for us to live for God, but there should be certain qualities showing up consistently in our lives. Since we can’t EARN our salvation, one of the key qualities pulsating through our lives should be GRATITUDE!
We just definitely see the fruit of the Spirit as well (Galatians 5:22-23) beginning with LOVE. After all, Jesus did say people will know we are His disciples by the way we LOVE one another.
What else are you thinking? What should be consistently showing up in and through us as followers of Jesus?
“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” (Galatians 2:19-21 NIV)
