What is your life built on…seriously?

I don’t often use my blog to promote a weekend service, but this one is different…and it’s going to be truly special. To start with, it’s MOTHER’S DAY!! But there is more.

I’m going to be interviewing Jen Thompsen. Jen is the wife of Jeremy Thompsen, our Executive Pastor who passed away in September of 2021. A mom of two outstanding boys, she’ll be discussing what God has done in their lives and what she intentionally does to be a great mom.

Jen has clearly built her life on the teaching and wisdom of Jesus, her Lord. That reminds me of something Jesus said…

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
