What’s your temperature?

When I seriously got into photography I was primarily focused on sunsets (and an occasional sunrise). I loved what God would do with the colors. I could be at the same location over and over, and yet His creativity made each one feel special.

When I first started sharing my photos on Instagram and Facebook under my photography name, JPSPhotoArt, I came across a verse that truly captivated me. This particular phrasing comes from The Message translation, and it seriously inspires me:

“That’s how God’s Word vaults across the skies from sunrise to sunset, Melting ice, scorching deserts, warming hearts to faith.” (Psalm 19:6 MSG)

Now, it’s not just through a great sunset God is moving. He is primarily moving through you and me! We get to “warm hearts to faith” by pointing our friends to Jesus. The way we live our lives, with the love of Jesus, sets the right temperature so they can warm up to the idea of a God who loves them more than they could ever imagine.
