Who are you helping?

In the heart of Paul’s letter to Titus, he reminds them to have the veterans of the faith help those newer to the faith. The older helping the younger.

I love this reminder, especially since I’m on the older side of the spectrum now. (Not sure when that happened.) We have history. We’ve learned some lessons the hard way. We can now help someone else avoid some of the debris we tripped on.

This can’t happen unless we’re intentional. So…who are you helping?

“Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.” (Titus 2:2 NLT)
